Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh was born and brought up at Kolkata, in India. He started his Martial Arts / Karate career since early 1980 in INDIA. Since his early childhood, Shihan Ghosh was always very involved in various sports ranging from Football, Boxing, Swimming and Athletes. But, he excelled the most in Martial Arts and Karate-do at the age of 14. His Martial Arts training began with Shotokan Karate background and continued for several years. He was an individual club Instructor for the District of 24 Parganas (North) and associated with Japan Karate Association of West Bengal. After that he had joined the famous Style of Ken-Ei–Mabuni Shito-Ryu Karate School of India (KMSKSI) group in early “2006” as a Secretary General of West Bengal. There he achieved his first official GO-DAN (5th DAN Black belt) certifications from KMSKSI and AIKF both in the year 2011, at Bangalore. He was acted as an associate instructor last 28 years with JKAIWB, BSKI, WSKFI, AIKF, KMSKSI and taking part as senior Referee / Judge since “1998” in National and International level.

He follows both Traditional Karate rules and Sports Karate-Do rules of AKF / WKF (formerly WUKO). Now, he is running his own Federation / Association in the name of IHSKFI, MKAI in INDIA. He is the founder President, Chief Administration and Chief Technical Director of International Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation of India (IHSKFI) and Martial Arts of Karate-Do Association of India (MKAI). Also, “2015” he is appointed as the world’s most prestigious portfolio as Vice President / Examiner of International Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation (IHSKF), World Body.

Shihan Ghosh’s still continuously attending different Districts, States, Nationals and Internationals camps, seminars, championships and workshop in India and abroad. He trained under more than 50 worlds famous Grand Masters worldwide and it is continuing. At present he is appointed as Chief Administration and Chief Technical Director to run his own organization in the name of IHSKFI, MKAI in India, is certified by great Master Hanshi Julius Thiry “PhD” (9th DAN Black Belt). Shihan Ghosh achieved his IHSKF official GO-DAN (5th DAN Black belt) certification, is certified by his Master Hanshi Julius Thiry “PhD”, in Budapest Hungary. He achieved many official titles in National and International levels. He won individually many medals in States / National and International levels from YMCA, WSKFI and BSKI. He has been awarded two times as best Referees and Judges Awards in those functions.

He is a qualified International Referee and Judge from IHSKF and AIKF. His dreams are to promote the actual Classical Traditional / Sports of (IHSKF) Shito-Ryu Karate arts in India. He is always in searching mode for real talent hub from India and teaches them to enhance their ability to become stronger technical performer in the Nationals, Internationals and World Karate Federation’s level. He heartily prays to all of his IHSKFI, MKAI members for long time success in their lives.

 Achievements in Karate-Do and Yoga:-

 

1) Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh attended the Indo-Japan collaboration of International Karate Seminar / Camp in the year “1993”, at YMCA, Kolkata. The whole progrmme was supervised by Sensei Fujikyo Omura, 2 times World Champions Japanese Karate Master from Japan Karate Association (JKA) the world renowned Shotokan Styles.

 

2) Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh attended the Indo-Japan collaboration of International Karate Seminar / Camp in the year “1994”, at YMCA, Kolkata. The whole progrmme was supervised by World Champions of EIGHT Japanese Karate Masters, included Shihan Seiji Nishimura (in different World renowned Mother Styles from Shotokan, Shitoryu, Wadoryu and Gojuryu Karate).

 

3) Shihan Ghosh was selected officially for the 1st YMCA Championship in the year “1995”,

at Kolkata – won Gold Medal in Senior Team Kumite (Fighting).

 

4) Shihan Ghosh was selected officially for open Kolkata Shotokan Cup Championship in the year “1996” in Kolkata – won Gold Medal in Senior Team Kumite (Fighting) and won Gold Medal in Senior Team Kata (Combination of Basics).

 

5) Shihan Ghosh Graduated his 1st DAN Black Belt (SHODAN), at Kolkata, Certificate from British Shotokan Kyogi International (UK) and associated member of Japan Karate Association in the year “1998”.

 

6) Shihan Ghosh was selected officially for open National Championship of British Shotokan Kayogi International Championship in the year “1998”, in West Bengal – won Gold Medal in individual Kumite (Fighting). Same year Shihan Ghosh was selected for BSK World Championship in the same year in England.

 

7) Shihan Ghosh was continued selected officially for open Budokan Karate Cup Championship in the year “1999” at Kolkata – won Gold Medal in Senior Team Kata (Combination of Basics) and Shihan Ghosh was selected for invitational World Championship in the same year in Denmark.

 

8) Shihan Ghosh was continued selected officially for open Kolkata Cup in the year “2001”, at Girish Park Maidan, Kolkata – won Gold Medal in Senior Team Kata (Combination of Basics).

 

9) Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh was officially invited from Indo-Japan collaboration of International Karate seminar / camp, organized by World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation of India in the year “2002”, at Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai. The whole progrmme was supervised by Sensei Hitoshi Kashuya (8 DAN Black Belt), three times World Champions Japanese Karate Master, who awarded me the certificate.

                                                                                            

10) Shihan Ghosh continued achieved his higher degree / rank of 2nd DAN Black Belt (NIDAN) Certificate from World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation of India in the year “2002”, at Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai.

                                                                                                                                        

11) Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh was officially selected for the open World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation Championship in the year “2002”, at D.C. Public School, Khandala, Maharastra- won Gold Medal in under 65 kg category individual Kumite, Silver Medal in Team Kumite (Fighting) and Silver Medal in Senior Team Kata (Combination of Basics). In these mega events he had been awarded the very prestigious WSKFI first officials NATIONAL REFEREE / JUDGE (A-GRADE) TITLE. He was selected for WSKF World Championship in the year “2002”, to be held in Germany.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

12) Shihan Ghosh continued achieved his 1st National Federation degree / rank of 1st DAN Black Belt (SHODAN) Certificate from All India Karate-Do Federation of India (AIKF) in the year “2002”, at Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai.

 

13) Shihan Ghosh was continued selected officially for the open World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation Championship in the year “2005”, at Panaji, GOA- won Gold Medal in under 70 kg category individual Kumite (Instructor Events), Silver Medal in Senior Team Kumite (Fighting). He was selected for WSKF World Championship at Tokyo, Japan.

 

14) Shihan Ghosh was continued selected officially for open World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation Championship in the year “2006”, at Nasik, Maharastra- won Gold Medal in under 70 kg category individual Kumite (Senior Instructor Events). He was selected for WSKF World Championship at Tokyo, Japan.

 

15) Shihan Ghosh continued achieved his higher degree / rank of 3nd DAN Black Belt (SANDAN) Certificate from Ken – Ei- Mabuni Shito-Ryu Karate School of India (KMSKSI) in the year “2007”, at International Public School, Kolkata.

 

16) Shihan Ghosh continued achieved his National Federation higher degree / rank of 2nd DAN Black Belt (NIDAN) Certificate from All India Karate-Do Federation of India (AIKF) in the year “2007”, at Jayalalita Stadium, Chennai.

 

17) Shihan Ghosh continued achieved his National Federation higher degree / rank of 3nd DAN Black Belt (SANDAN) Certificate from All India Karate-Do Federation of India (AIKF) in the year “2007”, at Erode, Taminadu.

 

18) Shihan Ghosh was attended as a senior Referee / Judge for the most prestigious of 1st Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) official State Tournament for Karate, is organized by Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) in the year “2008”, at Netaji Indoor Stadium Kolkata. He was awarded Karate BOA Referee / Judge Certificate.

 

19) Shihan Ghosh was awarded Official YOGA Referee and Judge Certificate in the year “2008” from West Bengal Yoga Association.

 

21) Shihan Ghosh was officially invited and attended as a senior Referee / Judge the Ken – Ei – Mabuni National Tournament, is organized by Ken – Ei- Mabuni Karate School of India (KMSKSI) in the year “2009”, at Mujaffarpur, Bihar. He was awarded best Referee / Judge Certificate.

 

22) Shihan Ghosh continued attended as a senior Referee / Judge for 2nd Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) official State Tournament for Karate, is organized by Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) in the year “2008”, at Netaji Indoor Stadium Kolkata. He was awarded Karate BOA Referee / Judge Certificate.

 

23) Shihan Ghosh again attended as a senior Referee / Judge for 3rd Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) official State Tournament for Karate, is organized by Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) in the year “2009”, at Netaji Indoor Stadium Kolkata. He was awarded Karate BOA Referee / Judge Certificate.

 

24) Again Shihan Ghosh attended as a senior Referee / Judge for 3rd Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) official State Tournament for YOGA, is organized by Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) in the year “2009”, at Netaji Indoor Stadium Kolkata. He was awarded Yoga BOA Referee / Judge Certificate.

 

25) Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh was officially invited and attended the Tensuhiko Asai Memorial Karate Seminar in the year “2010” at Ichapur Gun cell Metal Factory Indoor Stadium, Kolkata. He was awarded the Certificate of best Sensei of the year.

                                                                           

26) Shihan Ghosh was awarded the official Referee / Judge Certificates of All India Karate-Do Federation of India (AIKF), in the year “2010”, At Netaji Indoor Stadium Chennai.  

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

27) Shihan Ghosh was applied directly for the most prestigious higher degree / rank 5th DAN Black Belt (GODAN) and submitted his written papers. He was awarded the prestigious rank 5th DAN Black Belt (GODAN) Certificates from Both Ken – Ei- Mabuni Karate School of India (KMSKSI) and All India Karate-Do Federation of India (AIKF) in the year “2011”, in Erode, Tamilnadu. Also, he was awarded the prestigious Title SHIHAN (Professor of Karate).

 

28) Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh was officially invited as a senior Referee / Judge for Ken – Ei – Mabuni National Tournament, is organized by Ken – Ei- Mabuni Karate School of India (KMSKSI) in the year “2012”, at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. He was awarded good Referee / Judge Certificate.

 

29) Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh was submitted his written paper in the year “2012”, to the world famous largest and famous Federation of INTERNATIONAL HAYASHI-HA SHITO-RYU KARATE-DO FEDERATION (IHSKF), for Style Chief in India. It gives his great pride and honour to announce that successfully, in the year 4th April “2014” he was selected for new Style Chief / Administrator / Chief Technical Director of IHSKF Certificates for the country in India, from INTERNATIONAL HAYASHI-HA SHITO-RYU KARATE-DO FEDERATION (IHSKF). The Federation also approved the International Club Membership Certificate, in the name of MARTIAL ARTS OF KARATE-DO ASSOCIATION OF INDIA (MKAI) and he is the founder of these two above mentioned Organizations.

 

30) In the year “2014” Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh was officially invited the very prestigious IHSKF World Cup, at Budapest in Hungary from 4th to 9th December “2014”. In this mega IHSKF World Cup he was awarded the most prestigious higher degree / rank of 5th DAN Black Belt (GODAN) Certificate and title of Shihan (Professor of Karate) from his Master HANSHI JULIUS THIRY – President and Technical Chairman of IHSKF World Body. He achieved his above mentioned certificates after submitted the written papers and attended in the practical and viva test. Also, he was served his Referee ship in this mega event.

 

31) In the year “2015” Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh name was nominated to the INTERNATIONAL HAYASHI-HA SHITO-RYU KARATE-DO FEDERATION (IHSKF), for Executive Body Member. It gives his great pride and honour to announce that he was selected the world’s very prestigious Karate title Certificate as new Vice President and Examiner from India for the INTERNATIONAL HAYASHI-HA SHITO-RYU KARATE-DO FEDERATION (IHSKF), WORLD BODY.

 

32) In the year “2016” Shihan Subrata Kumar Ghosh officially invitation was continued and he attended the very prestigious IHSKF World Cup, at Budapest in Hungary from 5th to 14th December “2016”. He was served his Referee ship in this mega event. In this mega IHSKF event he was called for the most prestigious IHSKF world Board of Examiner post for IHSKF Black belts examination.
